Washington Commanders Media Day Hype for Maryland & Virginia Girls’ Flag Football Launch
✨ Coach, Parents & Player Tips
Coach’s Clipboard: Draw a quick chalk ladder on the driveway and lead the team through shuffle, hop, and sprint combos—no pricey gear required and you’ll have their feet (and smiles) on fire in minutes.
Postgame Parents: Before you pull out of the driveway, kick off a two-minute “Warm-Up Simon Says”—mix in jumping jacks, high knees, and arm circles to shake off jitters, get their muscles buzzing, and share a laugh before the first whistle.
Players Snap: Use pre-snap motion to drag a defender out of position, then plant and rip into a dart route like you owe it money—creating mismatches wins flag football games.
