Ohio High Schools Prepare for First-Ever Girls Flag Football State Championship 2026
✨ Coach, Parents & Player Tips
Coach’s Clipboard: Before each drill, have players pump a fist and shout a silly one-word mantra—instantly snaps them into the moment, drowns out doubts, and hey, adds a bit of fun to their mental warm-up.
Postgame Parents: When your athlete’s head hangs low, have them name that feeling—“Captain Doubt,” anyone?—and then kick it off the field to turn mistakes into fuel instead of roadblocks.
Players Snap: Show up 20 minutes early, run through your play calls with the crew and steal a quick laugh to keep the nerves in check—roll in late and you’ll be chasing flags instead of W’s.
