🏅 High School Girls Flag Football League wraps up inaugural season
Madison’s newly launched High School Girls Flag Football League, backed by the Green Bay Packers and organized by MSCR, concluded its inaugural season with a championship at LaFollette High School. The pilot program engaged approximately 75 athletes across multiple schools and aims to secure official WIAA sanctioning as girls flag football continues to expand nationwide.
“This is an incredible opportunity for girls to experience a new sport,” said Mary Roth, MSCR Executive Director. “The support from the Green Bay Packers has been instrumental in turning this vision into reality.”
